Reach Publishing Services Limited – Print and Digital Edition Subscriptions

Welcome to the subscription terms and conditions for Reach Publishing Services Limited’s national, regional and magazines print editions offered on the Reachsubs.co.uk site. These terms & conditions below apply to the voucher, home delivery and postal subscription service offered by Reach. Your contract is with Reach Plc. We are a company registered in England and Wales with company number 82548 and our registered office is One Canada Square, Canary Wharf, London E14 5AP . Our registered VAT number is 440356767. The subscription service is only available to UK residents aged 18 and over and in shops where the titles are sold with the exception of Magazines where an overseas postal subscription is available.

1. Voucher Subscriptions
1.1 A voucher subscription entitles you to receive pre-paid vouchers that are redeemable in participating UK retail stores against the Reach title offered on this site on the selected days of the week included in your selected subscription package.
1.2 We will send you a new voucher book every 13 weeks, every 6 months or annually, depending on your selected payment method, over the duration of your subscription.
1.3 If you have a voucher subscription, only original vouchers will be accepted. No scanned or photocopied documents will be accepted.
1.4 The cost of a voucher subscriptions does not include any home delivery charge which your retailer may levy.

2. Home Delivery and Postal Subscriptions
2.1 The cost of a home delivery subscription purchased through the ReachSubs site includes a delivery charge.
2.2 With home delivery, you are entitled to one copy per subscription of your selected title and delivered to your chosen address on the day of the week that you have selected for the duration of your subscription.
2.3 Home delivery subscriptions are offered across most of the UK see the Reachsubs site to see if your postcode is covered by Reachsubs.
2.4 If available, your home delivery subscription may begin within 4 business days following the day you place your order. However you may postpone the start of your subscription for up to 3 weeks following the date of placing your order.
2.5 Postal Subscriptions include the appropriate postage charges for the subscriptions package chosen.

3. Digital Subscriptions
3.1 Digital editions for the corresponding Reach title accessed via your smartphone, tablet or web browser.
3.2 You will be required to download the relevant app from the Apple or Google app stores. Details of how to access your digital edition will be included in your digital subscription payment and welcome email.
3.3 Subscribers for Reach print title vouchers, home delivery and postal of any Reach print titles to the corresponding digital app, where available, continues at the discretion of Reach and such access may be terminated at any time.
3.4 Reach reserves the right to change the digital subscription price at any time.

4. Payments and subscription charge rates
4.1 You may place an order for a subscription online or by telephone. Your order is an offer to buy a subscription from Reach. We reserve the right to refuse any order for any subscription for any reason.
4.2 If you choose to pay by direct debit we will adhere to the guidelines set out in the Direct Debit Guarantee. This information is detailed in the welcome and payment confirmation letter or email.
4.3 Your Direct Debit payment or credit card payment will appear as Reach Publishing Services Limited on your statement.
4.4 A subscription may become invalid if Reach is unable to secure payment for the service.
4.5 Subscribers who take up an exclusive or introductory offer may see their subscription rate change to higher standard subscription rate once the offer period ends. This information is detailed in your welcome and payment letter or email.
4.6 The standard print edition subscription rate is the saving calculated upon the discount per week against the retail price across all print editions i.e., Daily, Saturday and Sunday editions.
4.7 Reach reserves the right to change the standard print subscriber discount saving at any time.
4.8 If the cover price of the title increases your subscription price may also increase. You will be notified in advance of any change in subscription charge rates.

5. Cancellations and refunds
5.1 A subscription may be cancelled by calling customer care on the number below within 14 days of purchase and receive a full refund when in the case of a Voucher Subscriber all vouchers are returned to customer care at the address below.
5.2 Home delivery subscribers may cancel their subscription with 4 working days’ notice and may receive a refund if applicable. Any outstanding subscription charges must be paid.
5.3 After the initial 14 days a subscription is cancelled there will be no automatic refunds.
5.4 However refunds maybe made in exceptional circumstances, which we will assess on a case by case basis. If we then decide that exceptional circumstances apply, we may, at our reasonable discretion, give a proportionate refund. If you have a query about obtaining a refund, please contact our customer care team on the telephone number below.
5.5 Reach shall accept refunds for vouchers for the purpose of availing discounts, promotions, or other benefits, subject to the condition that only a complete set of vouchers (weekday or weekend vouchers) shall be deemed acceptable for refunds. The value of any refund will be equal to the subscription value of the returned vouchers at the date of purchase.
5.6 In the event that you receive a voucher without making payment, notwithstanding any other terms contained in this refund policy, no refunds or reimbursements shall be provided for vouchers that Reach have not received payment for.
5.7 Cancelling a Direct Debit instruction without informing customer care can result in additional charges.
5.8 All cancellations must be made by telephone to the customer care team between 9am & 5pm Mon – Fri business days.

6. General subscription terms
6.1 Reach reserves the right to discontinue the subscription service at any time by providing notice to the subscriber.
6.2 Your subscription cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Vouchers have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for other goods or services.
6.3 Home delivery subscribers may cancel their subscription with 4 working days’ notice and may receive a refund if applicable. Any outstanding subscription charges must be paid.
6.4 Reach reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions.
6.5 Please note that these terms of use, their subject matter and their formation, are governed by English law. You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction except that if you are a resident of Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, if you are resident of Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland and if you are a resident of the Republic of Ireland you may also bring proceedings in the Republic of Ireland.
6.6 If you are a consumer, you will benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you are resident. Nothing in these terms and conditions, including, without limitation, this section dealing with governing law and jurisdiction, affects your rights as a consumer to rely on such mandatory provisions of local law.
